Techsure Services Ltd define Special Projects as those which involve designing and fabricating an engineering solution for a specific need - a need that cannot currently be fulfilled.
Several clients of Techsure, like many businesses, have operational issues and despite approaching well-recognised specialist companies, have previously had difficulty in resolving them. Techsure will look at any job and by developing a thorough understanding of the clients’ requirements and needs, come up with options which will overcome those problems.
Techsure have worked on a number of Special Projects, including working to install fibreglass louvers in the Lyttelton Road Tunnel, designing and constructing a modified skip truck, and producing a vehicle that can chemically clean alcoves and behind lights.
Lyttelton Road Tunnel Louvres
Techsure worked with the client from research and design through to fabrication and installation of fibreglass louvres which were a replacement for the old glass louvres on the front of the Lyttelton Road Tunnel air intake house.
Modified Skip Truck
Techsure worked closely with the client to produce a Skip Truck that served a specific purpose and need - a need that could not be fulfilled by a standard Skip Truck. With experienced and knowledgeable staff, Techsure had the ability to not only create a solution by design, but could follow that design through to its fabrication and application.
Lyttelton Road Chemical Cleaning Truck
Techsure were approached by the client and asked if they could help resolve issues they were currently facing; they had a chemical they wanted to use to clean the alcoves, tiles and areas behind the lights in the Lyttelton Road Tunnel, however, they had no piece of equipment that could achieve this in a cost effective manor. After working closely with the client to understand their issue, Techsure were effectively able to design and produce a vehicle that could apply the chemically and water blast it off, giving a very effective way to clean those areas that had previously been inaccessable – it did exactly what the client needed it to do. The success of such a truck has since attracted world-wide attention.
