Christchurch Engineering Services

Techsure Engineering is working to strengthen Christchurch.

As a local Engineering firm with a fully-equipped workshop based North of Christchurch in Kaiapoi, Techsure Engineering is involved with the ongoing rebuild. We are working with major companies in structural steel work, re-strengthening of buildings and on-site welding.

In the immediate aftermath of the earthquakes, Techsure Engineering strengthened the Christchurch Art Gallery so the building could be safely used by Civil Defence and is working with the Christchurch City Council to strengthen and repair buildings throughout Christchurch.

Techsure Engineering strengthened the water reservoirs in the Heathcote Valley, which had been damaged by rock fall. The team was involved in the repair of pipe work and replacement of 2 ton valves at the Huntsbury reservoir, which had been seriously compromised in the quakes.

Immediately after the earthquakes, team members from Techsure Engineering were inside the Lyttelton Tunnel assessing the quake impact and involved in the strengthening process.

The team has also built and repaired numerous retaining walls and worked on the repair of bridges around Christchurch.

Techsure Engineering 2015 Ltd has full engineering facilities in its fully-equipped Kaiapoi workshop to design and fabricate to the client’s exact specifications.
